George Baker's cartooning is in fine form here, with every figure caught mid-disaster in that loose, rubbery style that made Sad Sack's Army Life such reliable fun. At 12 cents in 1962, this was an irresistible slice of comic misfortune for anyone who ever felt the universe had it out for them.
