Harvey Hits #101 brings another dose of G.I. Juniors mischief, with cover art by Jack O'Brien depicting a gloriously absurd homemade balloon — a red air mattress inflated by a helium tank — carrying a basket full of wide-eyed junior soldiers high above the clouds. Sprawled on top of the makeshift airship, one very contented G.I. Junior snoozes away, blissfully unaware of the chaos below as his companions peer over the edge with a flashlight. It's the kind of cheerful, anything-can-happen energy that made Harvey's 1966 lineup such a delight for young readers.
