From Image's Shadowline imprint, Harvest #2 brings a queasy, stylish menace to its cover, where a grinning nurse named "Toot" — wielding an ornate syringe and sporting a bloodstained uniform — looms over a restrained, wide-eyed figure whose arm is bound to a board with tubes running from it. The imagery is equal parts pulp-noir and medical horror, rendered with a sleek, unsettling cool that makes the danger feel all too clinical. By Lieberman and Lorimer, this series clearly has no intention of playing it safe.
