Harley Quinn #4
In "The Wilde Life," Harley Quinn takes a wild detour from her usual antics, rallying a crew to free her beloved hyenas from the zoo—because even supervillains need a little animal rescue in their repertoire. Narrated by Lester, a self-proclaimed Joker look-alike with zero criminal experience but full confidence in his destiny, the story unfolds with a mix of chaotic energy and dry, deadpan humor. Written by Karl Kesel and brought to life with sharp, expressive art by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson, this 2001 issue captures Harley at her most unpredictable—plus, the cover by Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson perfectly encapsulates the absurd flair of the moment.

Harley gathers a gang and breaks her hyenas out of the pokey (um, the zoo for those who don't watch Discovery Channel). The story is narrated by Lester, a criminal mastermind (albeit one who has never actually participated in any crimes) who thinks (and he is the only one who thinks this) he is a dead ringer for the Joker.
