Harley Quinn #17
Valentine's Day gets a wonderfully twisted spin on this April 2002 issue, as the cover by Terry and Rachel Dodson presents Bizarro — chest medallion proudly reading "Bizarro #1" — flanked by a grinning Harley Quinn and a cool, confident Poison Ivy against a pink, heart-dotted backdrop. The speech bubbles lean right into Bizarro's inverted logic, with Harley cheerfully rolling with it, and the whole scene radiates a playful, off-kilter charm that Karl Kesel's run on this title did so well. If you enjoy your villain camaraderie served with a side of backwards compliments, this one's hard to resist.
