The fifth and final issue of Andy Diggle and Alessandro Vitti's high-octane Skybound series closes out with a cover that says it all: a battered man sprawled flat on his back, completely surrounded by bundles of dynamite and ticking timer devices wired together in every direction. It's a suffocating, claustrophobic image rendered with sharp detail by cover artist Pangyan, with Adriano Lucas's warm, tense palette making those red sticks of explosive pop against the pale floor. If this is how the series ends, Hardcore is going out with a bang — literally.
