Hardcore #3 keeps the tension cranked high with a cover that stacks three intense figures — a long-haired gunman leveling dual pistols, a sharp-eyed woman close behind him, and a snarling man dominating the foreground — all set against a battered golden backdrop with a jumbo jet and cityscapes lurking beneath them. It's a striking composition from the Skybound/Image creative team of writer Andy Diggle, artist Alessandro Vitti, and colorist Adriano Lucas, whose rust-and-gold palette gives the whole thing a gritty, globetrotting spy-thriller feel.
