Created by Lectrr, this Dutch-language comic opens with a wonderfully absurd cover: a small, wide-eyed kiwi fruit character peers nervously over the edge of a giant blender glass — labeled "Mixomatic 2008" — filled with an alarming assortment of sharp knives and straws. The bright yellow backdrop and deadpan humor set the tone perfectly for what promises to be a quirky, irreverent read. Published by Strip2000 in 2016 and now in its third printing ("Derde Herdruk van deze Classic"), this edition is a great chance to discover why the series earned that distinction.
