Happy Rabbit encounters a small animal in the wilderness and discovers a lost city of gold hidden in a cliff wall. After a lengthy walk, the pair investigates the golden ruins. Happy Rabbit then attempts to pose as an imitation detective by mailing himself in a U.S. mail train to the big city, sneaking aboard to wear an official detective badge, but is discovered by railroad authorities who chase him from the train. In a separate segment, Happy Rabbit engages in a safety contest with Buddy, removing household risks like bathtubs, and teaches safety lessons by demonstrating various household hazards including ladders and showers.
