Volume 1 of Haite Kudasai, Takagamine-san kicks off this Square Enix series with a cover that puts its lead front and center — a sharp-eyed high school girl in a white shirt, red tie, and dark skirt, holding what appears to be a small piece of clothing while fixing the viewer with a cool, direct gaze. Creator Yuichi Hiiragi's character design immediately establishes Takagamine-san as someone with plenty of attitude and presence. It's an understated but confident opening for what looks to be a fun, character-driven school comedy.
