Haha #6
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThe concluding chapter of Image's quietly unsettling anthology series arrives with a cover that says it all: a grinning clown in full regalia — striped costume, ruffled collar, blue wig, red nose — holds a balloon aloft bearing the title, while an enormous crowd of wide-eyed, smiling faces presses in behind him, their expressions hovering somewhere between delight and unease. Martín Morazzo's linework renders that sea of faces with remarkable detail, and Chris O'Halloran's soft pink wash gives the whole scene a dreamlike warmth that somehow makes it more unsettling, not less. W. Maxwell Prince's Haha has been one of 2021's most inventive comics, and "Happy Hank the Very Happy Clown" looks like a fittingly strange send-off.
