Lola and her companions are drawn into a criminal handoff operation orchestrated by a figure known as el Boga. The operation is ambushed — betrayed by an unknown informant. Cornered by police and armed with military-grade weapons supplied by el Boga, El Loco and Patilla choose death over imprisonment, dying in the firefight. The closing narration, voiced by Lola, reflects on the gap between the myth of neighbourhood heroes and the reality of their deaths, and names el Boga as the first one who must be made to pay.
