The concluding volume of Habemus Bastard arrives from Dargaud in 2025, with a cover by Sylvain Vallée that sets the tone perfectly: a priest in white robes and an ornate black-and-gold stole stands arms wide in a church interior, a gold crucifix at his chest and a communion bowl on the altar before him — flanked, strikingly, by two semi-automatic pistols. "Een hart onder de soutane" ("A Heart Beneath the Cassock") promises exactly the kind of sacred-meets-profane tension that the series has built toward, written by Jacky Schwartzmann and Lies Lavrijsen with Sylvain Vallée's clean, cinematic linework bringing every contradictory detail to life.
