# Ha Ha Comics #76 This anthology issue contains multiple humorous stories. One tale features a caboose who attempts to sneak onto the Pennsylvania Railroad's Midnight Limited to New York, only to be discovered by train workers who must uncouple it from the observation car. Another story, titled "Dopey's Lesson," depicts a dog named Dopey who finds a dollar bill under a log and is confronted by a squirrel; when Dopey pokes the squirrel with a stick, the squirrel teaches him a lesson by chasing and hitting him repeatedly, leaving Dopey unable to continue his pursuit due to injury. Throughout the issue, various animal characters engage in slapstick comedic situations typical of the humor comic format.

A caboose on the Bangor Aroostook Railroad dreams of becoming a dining car after spotting one in the middle of a fancy passenger train—and decides to sneak his way onto the rails to make it happen. What follows is a comedic cross-country chase as the ambitious little car hops from railroad to railroad, only to find that no one wants a caboose pretending to be a diner. Written with genuine heart under all the slapstick, "The Ambitious Li'l Caboose" proves that sometimes you've got to learn to be proud of what you are.
