Ha Ha Comics #18

This anthology issue features "The New Sheriff" by Tom Atkins, in which Sheriff Tribby deputizes the woodland animals to help capture the escaped Spotty Leopard; Chubby Squirrel ultimately becomes the new sheriff after successfully recapturing the leopard and earning a medal from the mayor. The issue also includes "Scraps," a comic strip about a mischievous dog whose antics lead to a series of comedic misadventures involving burglars, police, and household chaos. Additionally, there is a story featuring a yellow cat and chick whose interaction involves the cat counting and the chick eventually calling the cat a "double-crosser fiend."
