Hoppy Hare and a friend venture into the mountains for a hiking trip, but their innocent search for a drink of water lands them smack in the middle of a long-standing feud between the Hotfoots and the McGoops. When the feuding families mistake the two visitors for members of the opposing clan, Hoppy and his companion find themselves caught in the crossfire—and forced to think fast to escape with their hides intact.
