Captain Universe explains who he is and how the Juggernaut ruined his life during his first battle with Spider-Man. Even when he realizes that he is supposed to be using the power of Captain Universe to save New York from dangerous earthquakes, William continues to focus all of his efforts on trying to kill the Juggernaut. With its purpose thwarted by its chosen bearer, the enigma force deserts William and possesses the Juggernaut who uses the power to repair New York's bedrock and stop the earthquakes.
