This 2018 Gwandanaland Comics collection brings together complete issues #42, 45–48, and 50–51 of Billy the Kid in one handsome volume. The cover — penciled by Pat Masulli and Dick Giordano, with inks by Dick Giordano — captures a tense Western standoff: Billy himself crouches in a defensive stance, guns blazing ("BAM! BAM!"), while a pair of hands above grip a Winchester rifle trained squarely on him, with the ominous caption "Here Lies Billy the Kid" setting a dramatic tone. It's a great snapshot of Charlton-era Western comics action, and a solid way to revisit this sharp-shooting frontier hero in one convenient read.
