Gwandanaland Comics #271 collects the complete stories of Rang-A-Tang the Wonder Dog from the original Blue Ribbon Comics, and the cover — a faithful reproduction of that November 1939 issue — sets the stage beautifully. Edd Ashe's cover art captures a tense confrontation: a sharp-dressed man in a green suit grapples with a crouching armed thug while a fierce, leaping dog drives right into the action.
