Gwandanaland Comics #1964 brings together the complete run of Hugh Bartlett's Oran of the Jungle from Fight Comics #1–15 in one handy collection. The reproduced cover art sets the scene vividly: Oran rides atop a massive creature breaching the water while native fishermen haul in their nets and spot what the caption calls "a great white fish," with the story promising murder and mystery in the heart of the jungle. It's a terrific 2018 rescue of a pulpy Golden Age adventure strip that deserves a wider audience.
