This Gwandanaland Comics collection brings together issues #124–131 of Crime Does Not Pay, the hard-hitting true-crime anthology series published by Lev Gleason. The reproduced cover from issue #126 sets the tone perfectly: a group of anxious men reacting in alarm as a burning car barrels toward them, with urgent speech balloons capturing the chaos and dread that made this series so gripping.
