Volume 20 of this Dutch-language Guust collection from Dupuis captures the lovable disaster-magnet in full chaotic glory — the cover shows him somehow airborne on a bicycle, bouncing skyward to a chorus of "BLONG BLONG BLOING" while two bewildered onlookers below can only gape at the spectacle. André Franquin's signature elastic energy is all over the artwork, and the title Flater Veert Helemaal Op ("Gaston Bounces Back Entirely") promises exactly the kind of springy, slapstick mischief fans have come to adore. A delightful 2021 addition to this chronological reprint series.
