The cover of this 2020 Dupuis collection says it all: Gaston Lagaffe has somehow managed to drag a full-sized cow through what appears to be an office corridor, leaving two thoroughly bewildered colleagues frozen in the doorway with expressions of pure disbelief. Credited to Franquin and Jidéhem, the cover perfectly captures the cheerful, chaotic spirit that makes this series so endearing — expect blunders on a grand, bovine scale. Hoed je voor Flaters ("Watch Out for Blunders") is a fitting title for this second chronological volume gathering Gaston's most gloriously ill-fated moments.
