Volume 17 of Dupuis' chronological Guust collection brings together more misadventures of Belgium's most cheerfully disaster-prone office worker, and the cover captures him perfectly — grinning ear to ear, clutching a walkie-talkie with an outstretched antenna while his scruffy cat and a trio of baffled bystanders look on near a Does-Spirou kiosk. His speech bubble hints at some gloriously ill-conceived neighborhood warning scheme, which feels entirely on brand.
