The tenth volume of this beloved Belgian series, Van Flaters tot Kraters, presents Guust Flater in characteristically chaotic form — grinning through a jagged hole he's punched in the cover itself, harmonica in hand, cheerfully greeting passersby with a mumbled "Goeiemorgen" as rubble scatters around him. It's a wonderfully self-aware image that captures everything endearing about this perpetually well-meaning disaster magnet. Published by Dupuis in 2018, this chronological collection is a fine way to follow the misadventures of one of Franco-Belgian comics' most lovably accident-prone characters.
