This November 1962 Marvel western puts Kid Colt front and center in a tense standoff — a red-shirted gunfighter faces down two enormous revolver barrels aimed directly at him while boldly boasting, "I Can Outdraw Kid Colt!!" Below, a band of hard-riding outlaws charges across a desert landscape under the rallying cry of Redbeard himself. Cover art by Jack Kirby and Dick Ayers gives the scene a punchy, kinetic energy that makes this 12-cent issue a fine snapshot of Marvel's frontier adventure storytelling.
