Kid Colt, Outlaw takes center stage on this September 1961 Marvel western, guns blazing as bullets spark all around him and a hat goes spinning through the air — Jack Kirby's pencils and Dick Ayers' inks capturing the gunfighter mid-action against a chaotic frontier town backdrop filled with fleeing townspeople. The cover story, "The Man with the Blazing Guns!", promises plenty of fast-draw thrills, with Stan Lee writing and Jack Keller on art duties inside. At just 10 cents, this is a fine slice of early-'60s Marvel western adventure at its most energetic.
