Timothy Truman pulls triple duty as writer, artist, and inker on this 1998 DC adventure, and the cover alone makes a strong case for his range. Two armed figures ride atop a snarling green dinosaur while masked ninja-clad enemies surge around them, a red biplane diving into the chaos overhead — and inset portraits identify two heavy hitters in the mix: Enemy Ace and Vandal Savage. It's a pulpy, globe-trotting mashup of WWI aerial warfare, prehistoric muscle, and DC villainy that promises quite a ride by issue's end.
