This 1965 Charlton release puts the masked Gunmaster front and center as he leaps boldly into action against a red-haired gunman, while his young partner Bullet the Gun Boy engages threats in the background — all three figures crammed into a tense, dynamic standoff that perfectly sells the story's promise of our heroes facing "an army of outlaws" in "The Kingmaker." Pete Morisi's cover work is crisp and energetic, with Gunmaster's flying kick and the villain's taunt — "Get them… they can't fight us ALL… NOW!" — conveying real urgency. Joe Gill and Morisi make a reliable team, and this issue looks like a satisfying chapter in Charlton's western-action tradition.
