This anthology issue features three main stories: "Wings Winfair and His 'Round the World Flight" by Lyndell, in which Wings and Fran encounter a murderous bandit gang at a colonial outpost and must negotiate for the release of prisoners held by the bandits; "The Uncovered Wagon" by Otto Schneider, depicting comedic misadventures of a family traveling by covered wagon; and "Curly and the Kids: Thanks Three Million, Uncle Gabe!" by Vic Tor, where Curly and the children search for an orphan home in the woods after learning that Uncle Gabe has left them three million dollars. The issue also includes the "Spellbee" word puzzle contest, a bridge problem by Shepard Barclay, "The Weekly Short Story: Routine Pursuit" about a newspaper columnist named Humphrey Pierce, a recipe for Devil's Food Cake, and an educational feature titled "This Wonderful World."
