Curly Wouldn't Let On!" by Vic Tor, showing Curly trying to hide knowledge of children's secret activities, only to be betrayed by their noisy celebration; and features including a recipe, bridge tips, and educational facts about science and nature.
When Curly accidentally falls through the clubhouse roof, he finds himself on the outside of a secret conversation between Hambone and Sossfield—and whatever they're discussing seems worth keeping under wraps. Curiosity gets the better of him as he tries to piece together what the two are hiding, but Curly's not about to give away that he knows something's up.
