It adapts the opening of the epic fantasy series, following the young prince Guin as he is cast into a world of magic and conflict, with the seven mages playing a pivotal role in his journey. The collection brings together the initial chapters of this illustrated retelling, staying true to the spirit of the original novels by Kaoru Kurimoto.
