A blue dog and an orange bear face off over a large sign bearing the title Gucio i Cezar — the dog holding it up hopefully while the bear, arms crossed, replies "Nic a nic!!" (Nothing at all!). Bohdan Butenko's clean, playful linework gives this 2011 Dwie Siostry edition an immediately cheerful energy that feels perfectly in tune with Krystyna Boglar's beloved duo. Whether or not multiplication tables are causing the trouble, the cover alone promises the warm, gently comic dynamic that has made these two such endearing companions.
