About this Collection
This collection reprints the earliest adventures of Marvel's original Guardians of the Galaxy, a team of freedom fighters from the 31st century. First appearing in the pages of Marvel Super-Heroes #18, these stories follow Vance Astro, Yondu, Martinex, Charlie-27, and Starhawk as they battle the alien Badoon and other threats across the solar system. The volume includes material from Marvel Super-Heroes #18, Marvel Two-in-One #5, and the first several issues of their own 1975 series, offering a foundational look at the team that predates the modern cosmic saga.
