Guardians of the Galaxy #43
☆ Be the first to review + Add to your collection — Join freeThis December 1993 issue of Guardians of the Galaxy throws open the door to Marvel's 31st century with a hammer-swinging bang — the cover, penciled by Kevin West and inked by Steve Montano, puts a Thor-suited warrior front and center, Mjolnir raised high as he shouts "For Asgard!", while two costumed allies charge forward through a field of shattered rubble and a snarling foe lunges from the right. The cover banner proudly announces the introduction of Woden, the Son of Thor, making this issue a clear turning point for the team's Asgardian mythology. With Michael Gallagher writing and Dale Eaglesham on interior art, "How Far the Mighty Have Fallen" promises plenty of thunder in the far future.
