Grumpy Cat & Pokey #5

The finale of Dynamite's all-ages series goes out on a delightfully absurd note, with cover art by Agnes Garbowska showing Pokey somehow crammed inside a fishbowl pleading "Help me…" while Grumpy Cat looks on with characteristic disdain and mutters "I'm not even going to ask." It's a perfectly charming snapshot of the duo's dynamic — one endlessly optimistic and accident-prone, the other utterly unwilling to engage — rendered in Garbowska's warm, expressive cartoon style. If you've enjoyed this series' brand of cozy, low-stakes feline comedy, issue #5 is a fitting send-off.
