Grimm Fairy Tales #33
In "Three Snake Leaves," writer Dan Wickline and artist Jordan Gunderson weave a haunting tale of love and desperation, as Ben, desperate to save his dying wife Annette, turns to forbidden experiments with snakes. Guided by a mysterious book loaned by Belinda, Ben becomes entangled in a story mirroring his own—Wilhelm's quest to revive his wife Zahra, with a cost that echoes far beyond the page. Cover by Joe Prado, this 2008 Zenescope issue blends folklore and heartbreak in a story where miracles come at a price.
