This 2008 collection brings together the six-issue miniseries pairing two of DC's most lethal antiheroes: the WildStorm operative Grifter and the Authority's brutal combat specialist Midnighter. Forced into an uneasy alliance, the two street-level soldiers clash over methods while taking on a threat that requires their particular brands of extreme violence. Written by Chuck Dixon with art by Ryan Benjamin, the series plays up the dark humor of two unstoppable fighters who'd rather kill each other than cooperate.
