Green Lantern: Emerald Dawn #[nn]

This collection reprints the 1989-1990 miniseries that reimagined Hal Jordan's origin as Green Lantern for a post-Crisis on Infinite Earths audience. Written by James Owsley (now Christopher Priest) with art by M.D. Bright, the story follows test pilot Hal Jordan as he is chosen by the dying alien Abin Sur to wield the power ring, then faces his first cosmic-level threat in the form of the villainous Legion. The volume also includes the sequel, Emerald Dawn II, which delves deeper into Hal's training and his early conflicts with Sinestro.
