Issue seventeen of Dynamite's Green Hornet series brings the masked crimefighter face-to-face with genuine menace, and the cover by Phil Hester and Eric Gapstur makes that tension visceral. A massive, looming green hand dominates the background as a dark-cloaked villain hoists a struggling, red-gloved figure by the neck — while the Green Hornet himself, in his trademark fedora and mask, watches with a grim, determined scowl from the foreground.
