Green Arrow #43

Green Arrow #43 brings a genuinely unsettling image to the October 2015 DC lineup: Oliver Queen, bow in hand and quiver on his back, crouches upside-down against a chain-link surface while a mass of dark, razor-tipped tendrils reaches down toward him from above. Patrick Zircher's cover composition plays with gravity and dread in equal measure, the cool palette making those jagged black claws all the more menacing. Part three of "The Night Birds," written by Benjamin Percy with colors by Gabe Eltaeb, promises the tension is only building for Seattle's Emerald Archer.
