Grandes Viajes #61
In "Cristóbal De Villalón en Turquía," the tale of a man who once served under the Turkish admiral Zinán Bajá unfolds as Pedro—secretly the fugitive Cristóbal de Villalón—reveals his past as a captive who posed as a physician. His survival depended on treating Zinán’s illness, and though the admiral eventually granted him freedom, the promise was withheld until his recovery, only to be revoked after Zinán’s death. Now fleeing across perilous lands, Cristóbal’s journey toward the Christian territories begins in earnest. The story, written by the team behind the series and illustrated with vivid detail, is a gripping chapter in the Grandes Viajes saga, with the cover by composición tipográfica capturing the era’s bold aesthetic.
