Fernand le vampire est parti en croisière sur un paquebot, tout seul car son amie n'est pas venue. Il fait la connaissance d'Hélas, pleureuse professionnelle, et son ami Soupir, un fantôme qui lui tient lieu d'écharpe. Il rencontre aussi Richard Marianou, dragueur patenté qui lui donner des conseils dans sa spécialité. Pendant ce temps, à terre, sa copine Liou fait ses courses au supermarché avec L'Homme-Arbre et lui raconte ses états d'âme.
