This anthology issue features three stories: "Dr. Destine, Ace Criminologist" involves a murder mystery aboard an excursion boat where Dr. Destine investigates a body found floating in the water and pursues suspects through the vessel's interior. "Red Rover, South Seas Adventurer" follows characters escaping in a rocket-sled through an icy wilderness while being pursued, with one character named Paul and another engaging in a dramatic chase. "The Crusaders, Inter-Planetary Explorers" depicts the group escaping a city in a rocket and pursuing enemies into the wilderness, culminating in a confrontation involving harpoon guns and a flying sled. A fourth story shows a boxing match where a fighter named Red defeats an opponent using a horseshoe-loaded clove, after which Red is chloroformed and abandoned in the wilderness.
