Grace Randolph's Supurbia #2
In Grace Randolph's *Supurbia* #2, the fragile peace of the community begins to unravel as government agents interrogate Helen about her past, pushing her to cooperate in a cover-up orchestrated by the enigmatic Sovereign. With Batu and Eli imprisoned and facing execution, and Jake and Alexis caught in a desperate moment that ends with a surprising kiss and a shocking rescue by Paul—now revealed as Night Fox—tensions spike, especially when Gio confronts Paul over his emotional reaction to Alexis. Written by Grace Randolph and illustrated with striking precision by Russell Dauterman, with colors by Gabriel Cassata and letters by Steve Wands, this issue deepens the mystery of *Supurbia*’s hidden truths. The cover, by Stéphane Roux, captures the story’s escalating stakes in a single, haunting image.
