Subtitled Princesses, licorne et biscottos, this charming BD Kids volume from 2022 pairs the spirited, red-dressed Grace with an utterly endearing little unicorn, the two of them squaring off across a tree stump in a moment that's equal parts standoff and silliness. Dubuisson and Maroger's breezy, expressive linework gives both characters enormous personality — Grace's wild golden hair and determined stance perfectly matched by her stubby-horned, pink-maned companion. A delightful read for anyone who likes their princesses with a healthy dose of pluck.
