Gotham Girls #5

The finale of this five-issue DC series goes out in style, with Batgirl swinging dynamically across a clean white background in her sharp blue-and-yellow animated-style costume — all fluid motion and sharp geometry, courtesy of cover artist Rian Hughes. A small cluster of character portraits in the upper corner hints at the broader cast of Gotham's heroines and villains gathered throughout the run. "Bat-Attitude" sounds like exactly the right note to close on, and the creative team of Storrie, Burchett, Graves, and Bone delivers this mini-series to its satisfying conclusion.
