Gotham by Midnight #7

Ferreyra's interiors meet Bill Sienkiewicz's haunting cover work in this September 2015 installment of DC's supernatural horror series. Sienkiewicz's cover composition is genuinely unsettling — a massive, translucent entity with jagged, web-like eyes dominates the image while multiple grotesque maw-tipped tendrils loom in the background, and a small group of five investigators stands defiantly at the bottom beneath the ominous tagline "Apathy Attacks!" Ray Fawkes and Juan Ferreyra's Gotham by Midnight has always leaned into the strange and eerie, and this issue — titled "Nobody Cares" — looks to deliver exactly that kind of creeping dread.
