Goofy Gander spends his days daydreaming about ancient myths and legends until Wally Wolf's reckless driving jolts him into the modern world—so Goofy decides to enter the big auto race with a jalopy he finds in his barn. When his makeshift racer mysteriously lifts off during the race and crashes through the clouds, Goofy finds himself face-to-face with Hercules, Jupiter, Mars, and Mercury themselves, who take pity on this muddled mortal and decide to lend him a hand. With the gods' invisible support, Goofy tears back down to Earth for another shot at glory—but he'll have to outrun both his rivals and Wally's dirty tricks to cross the finish line.
