# Goofy Comics #34 The issue features two main stories. "The Runaway Train" depicts Goofy Gander playing baseball with a bird opponent, resulting in both characters getting kicked out of the game. Later, Goofy acquires a boat for fishing at Lily Pad Lake with his nephew Peter, but his boasting about his seamanship skills leads to disaster when the boat sinks during a rowing contest with Uncle Pigly. The second story shows Peter Pigly's chaotic morning as his uncle attempts to get him ready for school, including breakfast struggles and repeated yawning fits, followed by various misadventures that make it a miracle he reaches school without falling asleep. A third comedic segment features animated food items—a gingerbread man and jack-o'-lantern pumpkin—engaging in slapstick chaos with animal characters, including attempts to bake the gingerbread man and feed him various foods, ultimately ending with the gingerbread man becoming dizzy and unable to run.
