Golden Kamui #9

Volume 9 of Satoru Noda's Golden Kamui, published by Ki-oon in 2017, puts a striking figure front and center — a pale, bald man in a purple jacket and vest, grinning broadly and flashing a thumbs-up with unmistakable confidence against a rain-streaked pink backdrop. The energy here is equal parts unsettling and charismatic, which captures the manga's knack for memorable, larger-than-life characters perfectly. A great pick-up for fans already hooked on this seinen series.
